ROMANS 3:23 - We All Fall Short
A reflection on grace, humility, and the reality that every heart stands in need of God.
Romans reminds us that every person has fallen short of God's glory. No one reaches Him through perfection, because no one is perfect.
"What do people in Hell and Heaven have in common? They both think they don't deserve it."
points to two very different responses to the same truth.
Those who trust in Christ know they fall short and recognize their need for God's grace. They don't believe they have earned Heaven.
Others reject God's judgment because they believe they are already good enough. They don't see their need for grace because they don't believe they deserve judgment.
In the end, both believe they don't deserve what awaits them—but only one has placed their hope in God's mercy rather than in themselves.
